Join us for a fun-filled Spring Celebration with an exciting Easter Egg Hunt at The Taylor House Museum at 11 am, a colorful Easter Bonnet Parade at 10 am , and a special visit from the Easter Bunny to start our parade! Opening Day is Saturday, April 4th! Each spring, when the veil between the everyday and the enchanted grows thin, the Fairy Queen returns to Furnace Town. With her whimsical entourage in tow — musicians, magicians, storytellers, and curious woodland creatures — she breathes even more magic into our historic village.   view more.

Participating downtown businesses will hide a mixture of caricature cards (as seen on the flyer above) in their stores/buildings on Spring Festival Day, April 4, 2026. Adults may visit each store/building to find the hidden cards and turn them in for an entry blank (one card receives one entry blank).
