Hemali is a Registered Dietitian and food safety professional with more than 28 years of experience in healthcare foodservice, hospitality, regulatory compliance, and family-owned restaurant operation. She supports organizations through food safety training, sanitation and compliance management, workforce education, and operational best practices across diverse foodservice environments.

Drawing from leadership experience in both healthcare and quick-service restaurant settings, Hemali provides practical, real-world guidance on food safety protocols, sanitation standards, risk reduction, and workplace safety culture. She is skilled at translating complex regulatory requirements into effective, actionable practices for foodservice professionals and organizations.

Hemali earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and has served as a preceptor for the UMES Dietetic Internship Program for more than 16 years. As a Certified ServSafe Instructor and Registered ServSafe Examination Proctor, she helps foodservice teams strengthen compliance, prepare for certification, and maintain high operational standards.
